ICBC recommends to have at least 60 hours of driving experience between your knowledge test and your road test. More than one 90min session will be necessary to train a beginner, so a package of 5 90 min lessons might be of good value.
Designed for learners who are already confident driving on the roads but need to focus on the details of the test
Detailed guidance on ICBC road test requirements and evaluation criteria
Practice on common test routes to familiarize students with potential challenges
Mock tests to simulate the real exam experience and provide constructive feedback

Strategies to stay calm, focused, and in control during the road test

Frequently Asked Questions
You will be able to book and pay via this website with a credit card. It is also possible to pay in cash or e-transfer prior to the lesson and to reschedule via phone and email.
We have a clear cancellation policy, please review it before you book.
If you are not sure how many lessons you will need you can always start with a 90min lesson and then book additional lessons according to your needs.
You can only use your own car for the lesson if you already have a valid drivers license (including a foreign one). There will be no discount on the lesson price.
Our standard meeting point is the Penticton Public Library parking lot—it’s central, close to Pen High, easy to find, and keeps our schedule running smoothly. If you need pickup or drop-off somewhere else we will try to accommodate locations within a reasonable distance of downtown and Princess Margaret Secondary School. Just let us know when you book, and we’ll confirm whether the requested location fits our route and timing.
If you are in another community we will have to charge 20$ per 15min travel time from and to Penticton. For Summerland this would add 40$ to your lesson price.
At this time we focus on Class 7 (Learner) and Class 5 (Full) driver training. We do not currently provide Class 4 instruction. If you need Class 4 training—for example, to drive a taxi, ride-share vehicle, or small shuttle—let us know and we can recommend a local school that specializes in commercial licensing.
